It threads into the port by hand using its knob, so no tools are needed to fit or remove it.
The Sentinel XL blower has three cartridge ports. HP configurations with Sentinel HEPA P100 Cartridges (S-4002) use two of them, and the third is closed with this plug so that all air drawn into the blower passes through the cartridges. Fit the plug whenever a port is left without a cartridge, and follow the user instructions for your configuration.
A plug is supplied with every Sentinel XL HP system and HP conversion kit, such as the Sentinel XL HP Head Cover PAPR Conversion Kit. Order this pack of 20 to replace plugs that are lost or damaged, or to keep spares alongside a fleet of blowers. No plug is used with three-cartridge sets such as Sentinel XL CBRN CAP 2 Cartridges (S-2016) or Sentinel XL Organic Vapor/Acid Gas/HEPA Cartridges (S-4012), which fill all three ports.
