The Sentinel XL® HP Clear Hood Conversion Kit includes the Sentinel XL Clear Hood, breathing tube and HEPA cartridges. It converts a compatible Sentinel XL system, such as the Sentinel XL HP Base Kit (S-3000-12) or a Sentinel XL CBRN system, to a Clear Hood HP configuration with HEPA filtration.

The Clear Hood has an assigned protection factor (APF) of 1,000, or 100 times the protection of an N95, and requires no fit testing. The clear hood design provides a 320-degree field of view for increased safety.

The hood has no internal suspension system for increased comfort and accommodates most head, hearing and eye protection. Like all Sentinel XL hoods and head covers, it is latex-free.

For hazardous-drug protection, the Clear Hood can be used with S-4012 OV/AG/HE cartridges (sold separately). Replacement Clear Hoods are available in a 30 pack (S-3101-30).
